Princess Charlotte holds a special place in the nation’s heart. Being the only daughter of the Prince and Princess of Wales and being exceptionally stylish for a 7-year-old, it’s easy to see why the royal is one of our favourites.
The expansive royal fanbase was delighted to see the youngster make an appearance in a previously unseen photograph of Queen Elizabeth II with some of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren to mark what would have been the late monarch's 97th birthday on Friday. The image, which was shared by Buckingham Palace, was taken by the Princess of Wales during the royal family's annual summer holiday at Balmoral. Princess Charlotte stood front and centre in-between four-year-old Lena Tindall, future king Prince George, nine, Isla Phillips, 11, and Prince Louis, who turns five on Sunday.
She looked adorable as ever in a red floral dress featuring long balloon sleeves, a sweet ditsy print, delicate shirred detailing and a crimson and grey colour scheme.
Evidently, the young princess had been enjoying time outside as her hair appeared to be sun-kissed and lighter than her natural, darker shade.
She stood directly behind the late monarch, who was also flanked by Lady Louise Windsor, 19, the Earl of Wessex, 15, Mike and Zara Tindall's eldest daughter, Mia, who is holding baby brother, Lucas and Savannah Phillips.
Charlotte’s dress is the perfect inspiration for summer, and we’ve found just the piece to treat your child to that’s just like hers.
