Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow has reportedly found love with 29-year-old actor Luke Wilson, her co-star in the upcoming film The Royal Tenenbaums. It is said that the couple have rented a Pacific Palisades, California beach house and plan to spend their summer vacations together.
Rumours linking the two romantically first came to light this spring, when they were spotted canoodling in New York, where Tenenbaums was filmed.
"I only wish I had the life you guys write about," the heart-throb reportedly said. "I'm single."
However, insiders say he's just being coy. “Gwyneth and Luke tell people they are just friends at the moment,” commented one insider in April. “But although they are taking things quite slowly there is no denying they are really enjoying each other’s company.”
Twenty-eight-year-old Gwyneth has had a number of well-publicised relationships with Hollywood hunks. The most famous was with actor Brad Pitt, but it ended in 1997 after a one-year engagement. She followed with an on-again off-again romance with Pearl Harbor star Ben Affleck, which evolved into a close friendship after the two split last year. Most recently Gwyneth has been linked with non-thespians, such as food heir Chris Heinz and film executive Jason Blum.
New boyfriend Luke was most recently featured in a supporting role as Cameron Diaz’s love interest in Charlie’s Angels, a film that was produced by and starred his real-life ex-girlfriend Drew Barrymore. The Texas-born actor and the reformed wild child split in 1999 after an 18-month romance.
The Royal Tenenbaums, a comedy which also stars Gene Hackman, Anjelica Huston and Ben Stiller, is scheduled for US release later this year.
