Pint-sized Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has been branded a pin-up by teenage girls worldwide despite his tender age.
The 12-year-old actor appeared on David Letterman’s top-rated US chat show earlier this week where he elicited Beatlemania-like screams from the crowd. Sitting alongside the veteran TV presenter, Daniel shared a story from his trip this week to the MTV studios in Times Square.
“Outside there was this girl with a huge plaque saying ‘Nothing can come between me and Harry Potter’, and she was wearing nothing but a towel,” says Harry himself. MTV’s Total Request Live presenter Carson Daly then invited the cheeky girl inside the glass studio. “She came up and she was really cool,” added Daniel.
American girls aren’t the only ones caught in the little Brit’s spell. Welsh opera divette Charlotte Church finds him adorable, and predicts the young actor has quite the future with the opposite sex. “Harry Potter is the don, and playing Harry Potter will get him all the ladies,” says the 15-year-old soprano.
