Pearl Harbor actress James King is returning to her model roots, signing a deal with cosmetics giant Revlon to front their new campaign. The former cover girl will appear in print and TV adverts for the company’s Super Lustrous Lipstick line.
“Revlon appeals to so many people and holds a special place in my heart,” said James. “The opportunity to be an actress and take the Revlon contract is a good thing. I’m so excited we’re supporting each other.”
James is joining an impressive roster of screen beauties currently representing the make-up firm, including Halle Berry and Julianne Moore. “It’s been a dream for her to do Revlon,” says a representative for the actress. “And she’s obviously in good company.”
“James is incredibly versatile,” said executive vice president and general manager at Revlon. “Her striking beauty, confidence and talent make her a perfect addition to the Revlon family.”
The model-turned-actress launched her film career two years ago and has been working steadily ever since. The Blow star has four films under her belt and three on the way, including the female lead in the action flick Bulletproof Monk alongside Anna And The King actor Chow Yun-Fat.
