Nicole Kidman’s life has undergone some major changes in the last 12 months, from the anguish of a miscarriage and split from husband of ten years Tom Cruise to her soaring career success which promises Oscar glory. And now the flame-haired beauty is contemplating another major change - relocating to London.

“I think it will be easier to be based in London and move around from there,” said The Others star, speaking to Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper. “I love London and I’ve had good times there, being on stage at the Donmar with The Blue Room and working on films.” “The children love being in London and schools are good,” she adds.

Australian Nicole has made no secret of her dislike for smog-filled LA, where she and Tom had their family home and often jets back to be with her family in the more relaxed ambience Down Under. “You can’t go for a walk in Los Angeles,” says the star, who plans to relocate from California to the UK next year after winding up several movie projects she has pending.

“I will rent a house for a while and see what happens. I would like to buy somewhere in London, but I bet they put the prices up when they realise it’s me,” she quipped. The actress, who last weekend celebrated a Best Musical Actress Golden Globe for her performance in Moulin Rouge, is now back on location in Sweden where she is working on Lars Von Trier’s new film Dogville. The flick focuses on a mysterious woman who appears in a forest village and also stars Lauren Bacall and Paul Bettany.
