Hunky Brad Pitt seems to have taken a page from Russell Crowe’s book, turning up at the debut of Jodie Foster’s latest endeavour, Panic Room, nearly unrecognisable with a rugged new look. Sporting shades, longer hair and a full beard, Brad shared the red carpet with a bevy of famous faces at the film’s LA premiere, including the Silence Of The Lambs star herself, and hot Hollywood couple Salma Hayek and Edward Norton.
Jodie stars in the thriller as a divorcée who discovers a chilling secret surveillance room in her new home. During a confrontation with burglars, she and her young daughter take refuge in the high-tech hideaway to fight for their lives.
Nicole Kidman had originally been cast in the starring role, but pulled out after damaging her knee during the Moulin Rouge shoot. The film was directed by David Fincher, whose last project, 1999’s Fight Club, featured premiere guests Brad and Edward.
The film, co-starring Dwight Yoakam, The Crying Game’s Forest Whitaker and Jared Leto, opens stateside on March 29.
