Having earned himself a reputation as one of Hollywood’s best known bachelors, Charlie Sheen brought his wild days to an end when he married former Bond girl Denise Richards at a discreet ceremony Saturday night.
The couple married at the Los Angeles home of Gary David Goldberg, the producer of Charlie’s TV show Spin City, in a Catholic ceremony attended by family members, including the actor’s father Martin Sheen, said spokeswoman Tracy Shaffer.
Charlie and Denise wore garments designed for them by Giorgio Armani – a two button tuxedo jacket for the groom and a white satin gown with plunging back and crystal beaded jacket for the bride. It was the 36-year-old actor’s second marriage and a first for his 29-year-old bride.
Denise’s film credits include the last Bond film The World Is Not Enough, Starship Troopers and the current Undercover Brother. Charlie appeared in Platoon, Wall Street and other films. The two met in 2000 on the set of the independent film Good Advice, and the relationship blossomed after she made a guest appearance on Spin City last year.
