Following weeks of speculation, Pretty Woman Julia Roberts married her cameraman boyfriend Daniel Moder on Thursday at an intimate midnight ceremony at her 40-acre ranch in Taos, New Mexico, USA, it has emerged.
“Julia Roberts and Daniel Moder married during a midnight ceremony before family and friends at their home in New Mexico,” said Julia’s publicist Marcy Engelman. He declined, however, to release any other details about the couple’s nuptials, the bride’s attire or the guest list, saying: “This is all we’re going to release at this time.”
Rumours that the award-winning actress was set to wed have circulated for some weeks, but reached boiling point on Tuesday when Britain’s Daily Mail reported that 50 guests, including George Clooney, were being flown from Los Angeles to New Mexico for some sort of celebration. The tabloid said the invitees were to wear white linen.
Julia, 34, met Daniel while working on The Mexican last year, when he was still married to make-up artist Vera Steinberg. It marks her second trip down the aisle – the star married country and western singer Lyle Lovett in 1993, but they divorced 21 months later.
