Jennifer Aniston turned up on the arm of her hunky husband Brad Pitt for the West Hollywood premiere of her latest film, The Good Girl. The actress and her hubby, dressed in matching black, waved to the crowds, as audiences took their seats to see Jen in a role that is a far cry from her super-sweet persona, Rachel, in Friends.
In the flick, a favourite at the 2002 Sundance Film Festival, Jennifer stars as Justine, a discount store cashier who sparks a passionate affair with a co-worker. “I play a woman who’s married and living in Texas and she’s basically fed up with her life and doesn’t feel passion for anything any more,” Jennifer says in this week's HELLO! exclusive interview. “So she tries to shake it up and then she gets into some bad situations.”
Though she’s a wealthy, successful actress, and has a screen heart-throb husband, Jennifer admits she can relate to the character, and that she could have ended up like Justine. “I was never really sure that I’d make is as an actor,” she tells us. “I never had great expectations, so there was a part of me that felt like, if I’m a waitress for the rest of my life, fine, I’ll be a waitress.
