A pretty fit-looking Bruce Willis is the latest in a stream of stars to hit this year’s coolest hotspot, St Tropez in southern France. Sporting a four-pack stomach and a hat to protect his pate from the rays, the 47-year-old actor did the St Tropez thing, diving off a yacht into the deep blue Mediterranean and strolling round a town where celebrity doesn’t get you a second glance.
Over in the States, Bruce and his ex-wife Demi Moore have recently been stirring rumours by popping up together in various places looking the picture of married contentment with their three daughters – Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah – but in St Tropez, it seems Bruce was just chilling out with friends.
Tongues started wagging last month when Bruce got together with his family to watch a parade in Idaho. Then they joined up in Washington, where they met President Bush and helped him urge Americans to adopt foster children. The next sighting was over on the West Coast, when the five of them met Demi’s mum for lunch and a spot of shopping in Santa Monica.
Adding to the speculation is the fact that Demi has recently broken up with her longtime boyfriend Oliver Whitcomb, and is now concentrating on making a screen comeback after a five-year absence by appearing in the upcoming Charlie's Angels 2 movie.
But friends say there’s nothing in the rumours that Bruce and Demi may be getting back together. “They are putting their kids first,” says David Ladd, the producer of Bruce’s recent film Hart’s War.
