Heath Ledger made his first Hollywood appearance with girlfriend Naomi Watts on Tuesday, stepping out for his latest movie, The Four Feathers, hand in hand with the Mulholland Drive actress.
The two Aussies were joined by the film’s co-star, Oscar winner Kate Hudson, who brought her rocker husband Chris Robinson and famous mum Goldie Hawn along for the ride.
The Four Feathers stars weren’t the only ones coupled up at the Mann’s Chinese Theatre premiere, as an elegant LeAnn Rimes was accompanied by her new hubby, dancer Dean Sheremet. However, Britney Spears, in an asymmetrical top and hip-hugging trousers, seemed to follow Kate’s family example, strolling up the red carpet with her own mum.
Handsome Heath, who is ten years younger than new flame Naomi, performed all of his own stunts in the turn-of-the-century war epic. “It was good to get out there and scream, beat people up and jump on horses,” says the 23-year-old actor. “It keeps it exciting. I didn’t break my ankle or anything, but looking back I probably should have.”
The Four Feathers opens around the US on September 20, and hits UK screens in November.
