Thirty-year-old Ben Affleck’s relationship with superstar Jennifer Lopez seems to be hotting up, even sparking rumours of possible future nuptials. And in a recent interview, the Pearl Harbour star confesses he’s reached a “threshold” in his life and has now turned his attention to fatherhood.

“I think that if you’re 30 and not thinking about marriage and kids,” opines Ben in an interview with the Sunday Express magazine, “you’re immature.”

Having won an Oscar, dated some of the world’s most glamorous women and gained heart-throb status alongside best friend Matt Damon, it seems Ben feels there is a more “interesting” future in store for him than a Hollywood career. “There is another step in life, which is family and love and children,” he says. “I think that would be much more interesting for me personally than just to continue making movies.”

Meanwhile, girlfriend J Lo is busy quashing rumours that motherhood is on the cards for her in the near future. “No, no and again no,” she told The Daily Star when asked about talk of pregnancy. “Last year no, and this year no… It’s the fourth of fifth time I’ve supposedly been pregnant.”

The first reports that she was expecting a baby were “devastating” to her own mother, recalls the singer, adding: “Now I’m like, ‘Mum, I promise if I’m pregnant, I will call you first.’”
