Not content with starring alongside Jennifer Lopez in two films this year, hunky actor Ben Affleck has been hired by his diva girlfriend to make a cameo appearance in the video for her new single.
Ben, who is rumoured to have got together with Jennifer on the set of their film, Gigli, is currently filming Jersey Girl where his co-star is yet again megastar J Lo. It seems that the couple can’t stay apart these days, and the two halves of this year’s hottest romance are set to parody themselves in La Lopez’s upcoming promo, Jenny From The Block.
The idea for the video, which is to be shot in New York and Miami, is said to be a spoof of the media attention Ben and Jennifer’s A-list relationship has garnered. The song’s lyrics tell of the My Love Don’t Cost A Thing singer’s rise to fame and include the lines, “I’m Jenny from the block/ I used to have a little, now I have a lot.”
Both Gigli and Jersey Girl are due for release next year.
