Hollywood couple Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are expecting their second child, a spokesperson for the pair announced on Tuesday. The new arrival – a little brother or sister for two-year-old Dylan – is expected in the spring.
The message posted on Michael's official site reads: "Michael and Catherine are extremely pleased to announce that they're expecting their second child in the Spring of 2003.
"Apparently, with the upcoming release of Michael's next film, A Few Good Years, which stars three generations of Douglases, Michael and Catherine felt there was room for some more!"
Catherine and Michael became one of Tinseltown’s superstar couples after they wed in November, 2000 at New York’s exclusive Plaza Hotel. In lieu of gifts, their A-list guests, including Meg Ryan and Russell Crowe, made donations to the pair's Dylan Michael Douglas Fund, a charity that infant Dylan will oversee when he turns 21.
Michael met his future wife at the Deauville Film Festival in France in August, 1998. The 58-year-old actor also has an adult son, Cameron, from his first marriage.
