A select group of stars helped Hollywood actor George Clooney celebrate his directorial debut, Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind, after a special London screening on Sunday.
After the debut of the film, which also stars the former ER hunk, celebrities including a dressed-down Joseph Fiennes and bespectacled X-Files actress Gillian Anderson had a chance to chat with George at trendy restaurant The Pharmacy in Notting Hill Gate.
In Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind, based on the memoirs of classic US game show host Chuck Barris, the Out Of Sight star plays a CIA agent who recruits the presenter to be an undercover assassin.
And as he spoke about making the film, heart-throb George made a confession of his own – he hated the fuzzy moustache he had to grow for the Seventies-era part. "I was stuck with it for six months and it didn't go down very well with anyone," he said. "I looked like a biker from the Village People."
Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind opens in the US on December 27, and will hit UK screens on March 14.
