Michael Douglas' mother has shown it's never too late to fall in love after marrying her partner of two years, Donald Webster.
Diana Dill Darrid, 79, tied the knot at the Old Devonshire Church on the island of Bermuda, the Douglas family's traditional home.
Michael and his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones flew in for the wedding, along with 130 other guests. "It's a magical thing that's happening here. My mother is 80 years old next year and she's getting married," said Michael.
The reception was held at the luxurious Ariel Sands resort, which Michael owns. The normally sunny island seemed more like Catherine's home country of Wales, however, as torrential rain put a damp edge on proceedings.
Michael and his wife are planning to move to Bermuda and they spent Christmas at their £1.5 million home there. "We are laying low and waiting for our new arrival," said the 58-year-old in reference to his wife's noticeable bump.
Catherine, who proved once again that she could make pregnancy look glamorous, sporting a long black dress and pink belt, praised the North Atlantic island. "It's a great place for a family base," said the actress. "I can't think of a better place to bring up children."
