Jennifer Lopez's divorce is finalised this weekend, leaving her free to wed new love Ben Affleck.
Court documents in California state that her marriage to dancer Cris Judd is officially dissolved as of Sunday. Dancer Judd, whom she met while filming the video for Love Don't Cost A Thing, will receive $9.6 million in the settlement and both parties will pay their own legal fees.
It is Jennifer's second divorce - her marriage to Cuban waiter Ojani Noa came to an end in 1997. She was also involved in a long-term relationship with rapper P Diddy, but that hit the rocks during his trial for weapons charges in 2000.
The Bronx-born star says she is confident her third marriage will be more successful, however, as she has more in common with Ben. "We're probably more alike and from the same kind of background," she said recently. "We had the same kind of upbringing, the same kind of family and the same kind of house." She first got to know the Hollywood hunk during the production of the film Gigli in which she plays a lesbian assassin.
Their relationship became public after Ben took out full-page advertisements in two leading show biz magazines to woo her.
