Kiwi hunk Russell Crowe has finally revealed the date for his wedding to long-time love Danielle Spencer.
The antipodean couple will marry on Russell's 39th birthday, April 7. They are planning a small, private ceremony at his family's home in Nana Glen, New South Wales. "It's not a Hollywood, star-studded affair. It will be a family and friends affair with about 80 guests," said his publicist Wendy May. Although they are opting for a low-key event, the couple have been making all the preparations to ensure everything is just right. They recently met with Italian fashion guru Giorgio Armani to design the perfect wedding outfits. And Russell has even added an extension to the private chapel at his home.
Despite his tough-guy image, Russell was also more than a little nervous about popping the question to Danielle. He admits that he carried the ring around with him for an entire month before plucking up the courage to propose. And he also called her father in advance, to make sure he would have his approval.
