One month after Kate Beckinsale announced the break-up of her nine-year relationship with actor Michael Sheen, it has been revealed that the Pearl Harbour star is dating the director of her upcoming film.
Kate's new beau, Len Wiseman, is the mind behind Underworld, the vampire flick in which both she and her ex-boyfriend have roles.
A source told British newspaper the Daily Mirror that the twenty-something first-time filmmaker, who spent last autumn with the cast in Budapest making the movie, ended his own marriage around Christmas. "He and Kate have been an item since then," said the insider.
The two have apparently been keeping the relationship quiet, but a spokesperson for Kate confirmed last week: "Yes, they are together."
The mother of one – she and ex-partner Michael have a daughter, Lily – is currently in Prague filming another vampire adventure, Van Helsing, alongside Aussie star Hugh Jackman. Kate is said to be planning a move to LA, where she has just purchased a new home.
Underworld is set for a September 2003 release.
