It seems Hugh Grant's recent hit About A Boy may have had a rather dramatic effect on the actor, as he's decided he wants to start a family. Speaking in a recent interview, Hugh says he's on the look-out for a nice girl to settle down with.

"I'm ready baby!" he declared in true Austin Powers fashion. "Put it this way: If I went to a party tonight and bumped into a fantastic girl, whereas three years ago it might have led to a short-term relationship, now I definitely keep my thought open to the idea of settling down and breeding. Definitely!"

He also says it's definitely someone new he's looking for, as a reunion with his ex Liz Hurley is out of the question. "She's with another guy, you know, and we're good friends. But no, that train has sailed."

The 42-year-old also surprised fans by announcing that he's "sick" of acting. "I kind of hate it. In fact, I hate it quite a lot – all acting, but especially movie acting." Perhaps the handsome fop, who has made a career out of playing bachelors, should try some family-man roles.
