As Sex And The City is shot on location in the Big Apple, crowds gather to catch a glimpse of the hit comedy's line-up of ladies and hunky guest stars. But the on-set invitee stirring up the most attention in recent days doesn't even appear on the show.
Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays fashion-savvy Carrie Bradshaw on the popular series, brought her five-month-old son James Wilke to work as she filmed scenes on New York's famed Wall Street. But no one was paying attention to the financial district's rising and falling stocks and bonds – all eyes were on baby James, who in turn was watching his superstar mum at work.
In character, dressed in a colourful overcoat and satin frock for the scenes, Sarah obviously had her mind on the job. But when the cameras stopped rolling she transformed from on-screen city singleton on the go to attentive real-life mum.
The 38-year-old actress and her husband, Broadway star Matthew Broderick, welcomed James in October of last year.
