Irish hunk Colin Farrell has proven his credentials as a family man by buying a plush Hollywood home for the mother of his new baby.
The 26-year-old recently announced that he and model Kim Bordenave are expecting their first child this August. And the Minority Report star seems eager to provide everything he can for his new family, as he has splashed out on a luxurious new residence for them.
While Colin will retain ownership of the palatial property, which reportedly had a seven-figure price-tag, it is believed that just Kim and the baby will live there. Up until now the model has lived in a modest annex in the grounds of another person's Los Angeles residence.
And Colin has even eschewed his wildman image to sign up for training in how to be a good father. He and Kim have booked a five-month course at Hollywood's Parenthood Clinic, where they will be taught breathing techniques, how to change a nappy and even how a woman breast feeds. "I want to be a real hands-on dad and be there for my kid," says Colin. "I want to learn all about being a good dad and put 100 per cent into it."
