He's a California kid raised in Massachusetts, while she's a native New Yorker straight from the Bronx. But apparently celebrity couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are looking to venture away from their old stomping grounds, and have bought a luxury home in the American south.
The New York Post reports that the two have purchased an 83-acre property on an island just off Savannah, Georgia. "They flew in to Savannah last weekend and took a helicopter to the front yard of their new home," a source told the newspaper. The estate, which was apparently once a rice plantation, is said to include a main and guest home as well as a sea plane.
Meanwhile, when J Lo gets ready to move, she just may be packing up her designer goods in luggage by Louis Vuitton. After weeks of rumours on the subject, the luxury label has confirmed that the star is the new face of their autumn/winter campaign. Designer Marc Jacobs apparently wanted "a sophisticated, influential and sexy woman" for the job, and found exactly what he was looking for in Jenny from the block.
The "contemporary icon", as described by the company, will be featured on Louis Vuitton billboards and magazine adverts starting this August.
