Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas are celebrating the arrival of their first daughter, after the Oscar-winning actress gave birth to a healthy baby girl on Sunday morning.
Carys Zeta-Douglas, the celebrity couple's second child together, was born in New Jersey and weighed 6lbs 12oz, according to Catherine's publicist. "Mother and baby are doing fantastic," said Cece York, "and all of the Douglases are thrilled."
The pair also has a two-year-old, Dylan, while Michael has a 24-year-old son, Cameron, from a previous marriage.
The Douglas family seems to be going from strength-to-strength at the moment, as their new film It Runs In The Family lands in theatres around the world. The flick features three generations of the thespian clan in a story of troubled family relationships.
Catherine, meanwhile, brought home the best supporting actress gong from last month's Oscars. The 33-year-old also wowed her Hollywood peers at the ceremony by performing a duet with Queen Latifah, despite being heavily pregnant. Her husband already had an Oscar for his performance in the 1987 blockbuster Wall Street.
