The stars of the highly-anticipated sequel to The Matrix turned out in style on Thursday, with Laurence Fishburne, Monica Bellucci and Jada Pinkett Smith joining leading man Keanu Reeves for the film's world premiere in Los Angeles.
Though no-one can deny the charisma of the men on the red carpet – Laurence and Keanu were joined by Jada's hunky hubby Will Smith in the A-list line-up – it was the ladies who added a distinct touch of glamour to the proceedings.
Charlie's Angels beauties Lucy Liu and Demi Moore made for a picture perfect pair, while actress Sandra Bullock was stunning in black. Statuesque blonde Daryl Hannah and Matrix star Monica opted for sexy satin, and Jada Pinkett Smith donned a leather jacket seemingly straight out of the sci-fi film's wardrobe.
The Matrix Reloaded opens in the US May 15, and will hit UK screens on May 23. Fans will have to wait until November to see the finale to the trilogy, The Matrix Revolutions.
