More than 12,000 fans braved the London rain on Wednesday, crowding Leicester Square hoping to get a glimpse of the stars of The Matrix Reloaded as the film made its UK debut.
While at least one of the movie's actors was not on hand – a heavily-pregnant Carrie-Ann Moss had announced earlier that she could not attend – sexy Jada Pinkett-Smith did not disappoint.
The petite beauty strolled up the red carpet sporting cascading locks and an eye-catching sequined mini dress. She was not lacking the company of her male co-stars, however, as Laurence Fishburne and leading man Keanu Reeves also made an appearance.
Handsome as ever in a dark suit, 38-year-old Keanu was impressed by the warm reception he received by the throngs of fans, despite the gloomy weather. "It's pretty extraordinary," he said. "This kind of thing doesn't happen every day."
And the Matrix followers who spent hours in the rain were rewarded for their patience when the actor went on a 30-minute walkabout. "I wish I could have stayed out longer," he said. "It's absolutely fantastic."
