Hollywood star Johnny Depp led the line-up of celebrities descending on Venice for the city's famed 11-day film festival on Thursday, stepping into the spotlight alongside his sultry Once Upon A Time In Mexico co-star Salma Hayek.
In a delectable roster of leading men, Johnny also co-stars with Antonio Banderas and Enrique Iglesias in the film, a follow-up to Robert Rodriguez's El Mariachi and Desperado. And according to the Pirates Of The Caribbean star, making the action-packed flick was one of the most exciting work experiences of his life. "It's the first time I've ever asked at the end (of filming), 'Are you sure there's nothing else we can shoot?," he told a Venice press conference. "I had a ball."
Co-star Salma meanwhile made a stunning appearance at the screening of Woody Allen's Anything Else on Wednesday night. The curvaceous Mexican star donned a strapless black and pink dress for the occasion, which was also attended by the movie's headliners, American Pie's Jason Biggs and actress Christina Ricci.
The Sleepy Hollow starlet opted for a delicate lace gown with a long train, which gave her a bit of trouble on the red carpet, tangling with her stilettoes.
