Bend It Like Beckham star Parminder Nagra and Spooks actor Matthew Macfadyen are both set to make waves on the other side of the pond according to Hollywood bible Variety. The two British stars were among five home-grown talents to make it into the magazine's prestigious list of top ten names to watch in Hollywood.
Parminder, the plucky, football-mad star of the popular film, has signed up Stateside with a role in the hugely successful TV series ER. Twenty-seven-year-old Matthew, meanwhile, is already a familiar face on US screens through his BBC1 spy thriller series, which is screened in America under the title MI-5.
Joining them on the list are Sienna Miller, 20, who is soon to share the screen with Jude Law in the remake of the Sixties classic Alfie, Romola Garai, the 20-year-old star of 2002's Nicholas Nickleby next to be seen in Vanity Fair opposite Reese Witherspoon, and 27-year-old Chiwetel Ejifor currently lensing Slow Burn with Ray Liotta and LL Cool J.
