Meg Ryan became the latest star to set the flashbulbs blazing at the Toronto Film Festival, as she arrived to promote her new flick In The Cut.
The thriller, which was directed by acclaimed filmmaker Jane Campion, marks a new departure for Meg, as she sheds her "girl next-door" image in dramatic style. In the film she plays a college professor who gets involved with a homicide detective. And her steamy love-scenes with co-star Mark Ruffalo have certainly got people talking.
"I think the scenes are really good though, I think they're very honest," said Meg. "Jane didn't want them to be coy, and I don't think they are at all. I also love how much dialogue there is - that's what makes them really intimate. It was the right movie with the right director and the right character."
It wasn't just the movie that sparked people's interest, however, as journalists also noticed Meg's famous smile was looking plumper than before, and there was even speculation the actress had undergone cosmetic surgery to have her lips enhanced.
