The normally svelte Renee Zellweger was sporting some new curves when she turned out for the premiere of her latest film in London. The actress has been told to put on four stone - 56lbs - in preparation for the new Bridget Jones movie, so she's had quite a lot on her plate.
Wearing a black Prada coat and knee-length boots when she arrived for the screening of Down With Love in London's West End. She explained: "I have put on weight and I've got a really good coat on to hide it."
Her character in the movie couldn't be further from lovelorn singleton Bridget Jones. In the flick she plays a best-selling author who is being pursued by a slick journalist, portrayed by Ewan McGregor. And Renee says she's found her ideal on-screen partner in the hunky Scotsman.
"I've known Ewan for a very long time," she said. "I'd see him at different events and we would always laugh together, so I knew I liked him. We were like schoolkids every day on the set. It's nice when you can find a partner in crime."
Also attending the premiere was singer Rachel Stevens, who was looking particularly love-struck by her actor boyfriend, Jeremy Edwards.
