Oscar-winning actress Julia Roberts has told friends she wants to have a baby within the next year "no matter what".
The 36-year-old is currently in London working on the film Grand Champion, in which she plays a pregnant cashier. And she hopes to be sporting a real bump before too long, as she and her cameraman partner, Danny Moder, start a family. "I can't wait for kids," she recently declared. "I can't wait to hold a baby in my arms."
Julia, who has apparently been feeling broody for quite some time, was spotted visiting a New York fertility clinic in 2002. And she is sure that Danny, the man she calls her "hunk of burning love", will make the ideal father.
The two first met while working on the film The Mexican in 2000. At the time she was involved with actor Benjamin Bratt, but the actress instantly fell for Danny and the pair were soon an item. The pressure of their careers has made the relationship difficult at times, and there were rumours that they had split last year, but the couple have looked very much in love during recent outings together.
