A heavily-pregnant Gwyneth Paltrow led the roster of A-list film stars – including Jude Law, Nicole Kidman and Denzel Washington – flocking to Las Vegas this week for an "industry" gathering much more glamour-packed than the norm.
The motion picture industry's annual ShoWest convention sees top movie execs rubbing shoulders with big screen names, and this year's event did not disappoint when it came to star power.
Paramount Studios was in the spotlight on Wednesday, holding a banquet to celebrate its upcoming films, including Nicole's The Stepford Wives, Denzel's The Manchurian Candidate and Jude and Gwyneth's Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow.
Jude, who has been named the ShoWest 2004 Male Star of the Year, arrived with British girlfriend Sienna Miller, but made an equally photogenic pair with his Sky Captain co-star, mum-to-be Gwyn. The American blonde, who is expecting her first baby this spring, showed off her growing curves in a form-fitting black dress and stiletto heels.
Oscar-winner Gwyneth is also among the honourees at the gathering, receiving the Distinguished Decade of Achievement in Film Award. Other movie starlets set to take home gongs are Female Star of the Year Halle Berry and Female Star of Tomorrow Jennifer Garner.
