Sarah Jessica Parker eschewed her designer frocks and opted for a pair of casual shorts and flip-flops as she enjoyed a day out with her family. The Sex And The City star was spotted strolling in New York with her husband Matthew Broderick and their son James.
Looking distinctly laid-back in a light cardigan and shades, Sarah took advantage of the warm spring sunshine that has hit the Big Apple. The 38-year-old has been enjoying some quality time with her loved ones, since filming on her hit series drew to a close.
But the actress will be back to her perfectly-preened self when she receives a Fashion Icon trophy at the forthcoming CFDA awards. According to the Council Of Fashion Designers Of America, Sarah has been chosen for her "personal and professional commitment to fashion, and for her quintessentially New York style".
Also being honoured at the glitzy event will be Donna Karan, who picks up a lifetime achievement award, and Tom Ford, who will receive the directors' special tribute.
