New mum Gwyneth Paltrow has been spotted several times this week out and about in the leafy residential streets of New York toting her baby daughter.
On one stroll the Shakespeare In Love actress gently cradled one-month-old Apple against her chest, while the sleepy youngster, comfy in a short-sleeved pink romper suit, stretched out her little arm around her mum in a drowsy embrace.
The Oscar-winning actress and her husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, were "900 miles over the moon" when Apple was born on May 14. And that same joy was clear on Gwyneth's face during her outings with her new daughter.
The New York-raised screen star made no secret of the fact that she fully intends to relish her new role and has cut down on upcoming work projects. That hasn't prevented her from lining up a double proposition - starring in and producing - a big budget movie about the life of Marlene Dietrich, however.
