Hollywood golden girl Charlize Theron has bid adieu to her trademark blonde locks. The Oscar-winning actress was spotted enjoying a break in Malibu with her Irish fiancé Stuart Townsend. But the 29-year-old went largely unnoticed by passers-by, thanks to a radical change of hairstyle.
Charlize has embraced the dark side of her character for her new role in the fantasy thriller Aeon Flux. In the movie she plays a mysterious secret agent who doesn't let morals get between her and her objectives. And the actress certainly looked quite the femme fatale, with jet black hair tied back with a side-parting.
In reality Charlize is more concerned with doing her bit for good causes. She has recently taken over from Nicole Kidman as the face of Saks Fifth Avenue cancer initiative. The money raised by the new campaign will go towards funding research into women's cancers.
The Tinseltown press is also wondering whether Charlize will be making her vows in the near future. The actress has often stated her desire to get married and start a family before turning 30. And according to newspaper reports, she is planning to wed Stuart in her home country of South Africa next spring.
