One of Hollywood's most eligible bachelors strolled down the red carpet on Monday as he presented his latest film in LA.

The man of the evening at the premiere of Collateral was Tom Cruise, who takes a rare turn as a bad guy – a hit man, to be exact – in the thriller.

In real life, adrenaline junkie Tom gets his thrills in more wholesome ways, with his love of everything from skydiving to mountain climbing. These days, he's even helping his children, Isabella and Connor, get a taste of adventure. "What I do is I teach them how to do it properly," says the 42-year-old star. "I teach them how to rappel, how to climb, so that if they're going to do it, I want them to be able and competent and do it well."

And any ladies hoping to date the sexy singleton should also plan on getting in on the action. "She has to have a great sense of humour and not mind having a little adventure in her life," he told the Daily Mirror. "I like riding motorcycles and flying aeroplanes and I want someone who's going to enjoy doing the things I enjoy."

Appearing solo at Monday's premiere, Tom apparently hasn't yet found a partner to fit the bill. In the meantime, he was not lacking company, joined by his co-stars, funnyman Jamie Foxx and Matrix: Revolutions actress Jada Pinkett Smith.
