Supermodel Gisele Bundchen is quite accustomed to strutting her stuff on the catwalk, but she found herself in a whole new world as she worked the red carpet at her first-ever film premiere.

The Brazilian beauty, making her big screen debut in Taxi alongside Oscar-nominated star Queen Latifah, attended the New York screening of the film on Sunday night. And while she usually sets flashbulbs popping with boyfriend Leonardo diCaprio, this time the statuesque runway star was accompanied by two of her biggest fans – her parents.

Gisele, who plays a sexy bank robber in the flick, doesn't expect to win an Academy Award for her first-ever screen role. "I never thought of this movie as the next level of my career," she says. "I just thought, I've been doing the same job for ten years, and this is a new opportunity.

"It's not Shakespeare – I'm not telling everyone I'm a serious actress, because that's not who I am. I'm a model. I just enjoy challenges."
