Gwyneth Paltrow has confirmed what her gently expanding waistline has been telling fans for months - she's expecting a sister or brother for 20-month-old daughter Apple. Baby rumours first surfaced when her mother Blythe Danner let slip her delight at the prospect of another grandchild.
On glitzy nights out before Christmas the Proof actress kept her baby bump under wraps in bulky clothing, and was guarded over the speculation.
Now the 33-year-old - who is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin - obviously feels the time for reticence is over, and says she's making motherhood her number one priority. "Since my daughter came along, I've not worked much through choice," she revealed. "And with another baby on its way, I don't think I will be doing a lot for the next year or so either."
And the normally willowy star is revelling in the fuller figure pregnancy gives her. When old pal Orlando Bloom ran into her at a special London screening of Annie Hall he commented on her blooming physique. To which Gwyneth replied: "It's amazing, isn't it? It's the best thing about being pregnant. I love the way I look."
