Catherine Zeta-Jones brought some feisty Mexican passion to Tokyo when she jetted in to promote one of her films on Monday. With her trademark brunette locks cascading over her shoulders and a sparkling gold gown to show off her curves, the 36-year-old was looking characteristically stunning as she presented her second outing as in the swashbuckling Zorro series to journalists in the Japanese capital.
The actress' latest collaboration with Spanish heart-throb Antonio Banderas has already come and gone in British cinemas, but Japanese audiences are about to get their first taste of the flick. And the movie's leading lady, who is wed to fellow Hollywood star Michael Douglas, with whom she has two children, Dylan and Carys, should be in her element in the home of high technology.
"I'm a bit of a gadget geek," confessed the Oscar winner. "I have a web cam so I do get to see the kids and Michael at least three times a day. I know everything they are doing, where they have been after school. Obviously it doesn't replace the real thing, but that web cam is my saviour."
