If film honchos ever consider introducing an award for best limelight-stealer then it would surely go jointly to Bob Geldof's teenage young daughters Pixie and Peaches. In recent months the media-savvy siblings have been spotted at numerous showbiz bashes posing with an aplomb beyond their years.
A fortnight ago they walked the red carpet at the UK screening of Memoirs Of A Geisha. Then last night they were at it again, almost upstaging Clive Owen at his own premiere for the movie Derailed, as well as a host of other stars including model Caprice.
Peaches, 17, looked very much the girl-about-town in a fashionable Missoni-style skirt and peep-toe wedges. While her little sister, 15-year-old Pixie showed she's knows a thing or two about grown-up glam in skin-tight jeans and killer heels.
Clive's co-star, Jennifer Aniston couldn't make it as she was tied up with promotional duties at the Sundance Film Festival. In her absence the rugged British actor arrived with his wife of ten years, actress Sarah-Jane Fenton, with whom he has two daughters.
But he took time to pay tribute to the Hollywood darling - who began shooting the film towards the end of 2004 as her marriage was disintegrating - as "very smart, very lovely, very uncomplicated".
Meanwhile Swedish director Mikael Hafström revealed that Jennifer was a true professional and kept her relationship problems off the set, while colleagues tried to provide "a private zone for her where she could just do her work".
