Brad and Angelina show off their new looks

Kitchen staff at the upmarket Italian restaurant Locanda Locatelli would have been forgiven for feeling a little nervous on Wednesday night after three showbiz stars arrived for a meal with one of Britain's top culinary maestros. A-list hunk Brad Pitt was joined by queen of pop Madonna, her director husband Guy Ritchie and celebrity chef Jamie Oliver when the Troy star stopped by the capital for a dinner date with his glamorous friends.

The heart-throb actor turned heads as he arrived at the Mayfair eaterie, not least because of the jet black hairstyle that has replaced the peroxide blond look he was sporting until recently.

He and his pregnant girlfriend Angelina Jolie decided to make a flying visit to the British capital on their way to the World Economic Forum's annual meeting which is currently getting underway in Davos. The Lara Croft actress, who was proudly showing her bump when photographed outside Claridges Hotel, was unable to make it along to the meal. But despite having to leave his Oscar-winning love behind for the evening, Brad no doubt enjoyed the chance to catch up with old friends.

Madonna's leading man has remained friends with the actor ever since they collaborated on the crime caper Snatch five years ago. Jamie's relationship with the Tinseltown star goes back to 2003, when the culinary whizz cooked a special 40th birthday dinner for him and his then-wife Jennifer Aniston.
