Fun-loving actress Halle Berry laid on another fine performance when Harvard's Hasty Pudding drama group presented her with their Woman of the Year award on Thursday.
Accepting the double-edged honour involves a fair amount of rollicking horseplay, but the Oscar-winning actress gave as good as she got, writing out "I will not make Catwoman 2" several times on a blackboard and dirty-dancing with a student dressed as a pink poodle for a "Dogman" sketch.
The US's oldest student theatrical group found a willing victim in the Ohio-born beauty, thoroughly justifying their belief that "she's a good role model for anyone interested in the arts – and she's just so fun."
Halle, who scooped a Razzie for the 2004 Catwoman flop but has an Emmy for Introducing Dorothy Dandridge as well as an Oscar for Monster's Ball, has every reason to be enjoying life at the moment. The twice-divorced 39-year-old is currently stepping out with gorgeous Canadian model Gabriel Aubry.
The couple spent the whole evening hand in hand at a recent Versace do in New York, and Gabriel's dad says, "He told me he's in love."
Next up for the Hasty Pudding treatment, meanwhile, is Richard Gere, due to be "honoured" as Man of the Year on February 24.
