Dressed-down and closely entwined with her husband, Kate Hudson was clearly relishing strolls in the winter sunshine with her family when she took to the streets of New York recently.
Described as "a real homebody" by her mother-in-law, the actress chose a big Peruvian-style cardi – and her husband's arm – to keep her warm and cosy during her outing with rock star Chris, of the Black Crowes.
Goldie Hawn's 27-year-old daughter, who married in 2000, has never made any secret of loving their simple, laidback lifestyle. "I cook, I knit. He watches TV, he writes," she says. "We hang out with each other."
And the actress – due to take the lead later this year in a drama about a young woman who befriends an older magician with Alzheimer's – was equally down-to-earth for a trip with her two-year-old son by Chris, Ryder Russell. Mother and son wandered through the streets together, picking up a bunch of flowers to take home after the excursion.
