Mexico's hottest star met up with two of Hollywood's most iconic performers when she stepped out for the premiere of her latest film on Thursday. Latina bombshell Salma Hayek shared the red carpet with silver screen legends Warren Beatty and Donald Sutherland as she dazzled movie fans at the Los Angeles screening of Ask The Dust.
The 39-year-old was her usual stunning self when she rolled up to the event in black chiffon gown with plunging neckline, but her silver-haired co-star adopted a more laid-back approach, at one point taking a load off by sitting down on a concrete bollard. The movie veteran was clearly in more amicable spirits than his villainous onscreen persona Hellfrik, however, as he smiled warmly when one of the snappers took aim.
It was Salma who garnered most attention from those gathered outside, though, with fans and reporters jostling for position in the hope of exchanging a few words with her. The actress won't have had to work too hard on researching her role, as the film's leading lady Camilla is a fiery Mexican beauty. Her co-star Colin Farrell, who wasn't able to make it along to the premiere, meanwhile had to undergo something of a transformation, as the Irish hellraiser is playing a sensitive Italian writer.
Across the pond in Britain, some of the UK's most celebrated actors were likewise strutting their stuff. Ray Winstone spent the evening rubbing shoulders with Emily Watson and John Hurt when he turned out for the screening of his latest offering, The Proposition. The three performers were also joined by Aussie musician Nick Cave, who has added screenwriter to his resumé of skills by penning the new drama.
