The New York premiere of Lucky Number Slevin, Josh Harnett's latest flick, turned into something of a boys' night out on Tuesday, as the main man himself was joined on the red carpet by co-stars Sir Ben Kingsley and Bruce Willis.
Adding an uber-feminine note to the occasion, however, was Charlie's Angels star Lucy Liu, who swaps her businesslike image for that of a bubbly neighbour in the movie.
Dressed in a deep burgundy, slashed-to-the-waist, Greek-style gown, the American beauty struck a brilliant spot of colour among the more sombrely attired men. All three of her co-stars had opted for black for the screening, with Josh and Sir Ben sporting dark suits while Bruce took a more casual approach in black baseball cap and leather jacket.
The movie, which has yet to open in the US, focuses on a case of mistaken identity in which Josh, as the hapless Slevin of the title, ends up in the middle of a war between two rival crime bosses played by Ben and Morgan Freeman.
Bruce, who's garnered favourable reviews for his contribution, takes on the role of an infamous assassin who has his eye on Slevin. Surrounded by foes, Josh is faced with the task of hatching a plot to get them before they get him.
