New mum Jennifer Garner was out playing happy families on Monday, but onlookers watching her stroll along the Malibu beach must have done a double take. The man by her side certainly wasn't husband Ben Affleck, while the child she was cuddling so tenderly looked too big to be their four-month-old daughter Violet.
Ben needn't have worried though - the feisty brunette was merely taking time out from maternity leave to film scenes for her spy drama Alias. And the mystery man keeping the pretty 34-year-old company was co-star Michael Vartan.
The episodes will be Jen's last as she's called time on her spy-fighting role as agent Sydney Bristow. For the moment the star plans to spend all her time with her little one. "Motherhood is her first priority now," reveals actor Victor Garber, who plays her on-screen dad. "She is happier than she's ever been in her life, and that makes me thrilled for her. The kid's adorable."
