Russell Crowe's latest movie outing is an indie thriller entitled Tenderness and if his dedication to his little boy Charlie is anything to go by, the A-list actor knows a thing or two about gentle displays of affection.
The Oscar-winner was snapped while enjoying some quality time with wife Danielle and their two-year-old son in New Zealand, the land of his birth, this week. Casually dressed in a black t-shirt and track-suit, the 42-year-old seemed to be relishing the chance to hang out with his nearest and dearest for an afternoon in the capital, Wellington.
Danielle had her hands full pushing her favourite boy's pram as they walked along the waterfront, but Charlie seemed eager to stretch his legs. Indeed his proud dad had to pick up the pace in order to keep up with the youngster who, with a big smile on his face, was determined to show off just how fast he could run.
The Gladiator star, who is looking forward to becoming a father for the second time this summer, obviously doesn't mind a bit of a workout when it comes to his family, though. And he will get the chance to exercise his acting muscles, too, when he teams up with fellow Academy Award-winner Denzel Washington in the drama American Gangster later this year.
