Despite competing with a bevy of beauties at the Young Hollywood Awards, Tinseltown veteran Michael Douglas attracted plenty of attention with his new look. The renowned charmer turned up sporting the distinguished moustache and beard he's grown for his latest role as a jazz musician in The King Of California.
At the bash the star mingled with the likes of Desperate Housewives hunk Jesse Metcalfe, Carmen Electra and Eva Longoria.
He was, no doubt, happy to catch up with the Latina beauty, who appears alongside him in The Sentinel, a thriller about a presidential assassination plot.
In her first film role as a rookie Secret Service agent the diminutive actress earned the admiration of Michael, as well as, their action man co-star Kiefer Sutherland.
Although known as TV's sexiest housewife, it was Eva's talents on the shooting range that blew both men away. "Well it was off the charts," revealed Catherine Zeta-Jones' husband. "It was humiliating to be quite honest."
After the guys patted her on the back, reassuring her she'd get the hang of it, Eva, who first held a gun at the age of six, stepped up to the mark. "Then it was ka-pow, ka-pow!" recalled Michael. "She shoots better than 90 per cent of the police officers in our country."
