The sexually charged thriller Basic Instinct 2 has reaffirmed Sharon Stone's status as Hollywood's hottest femme fatale, and the A-list siren certainly lived up to her reputation when she set temperatures soaring at a charity bash in LA this week.
Tinseltown's favourite blonde bombshell made light work of stealing the show when she arrived for the event in a stunning halterneck gown. The hot-pink creation, which featured a daring keyhole neckline, left other guests at the Lupus Foundation fundraiser with little doubt about who was the star of the evening.
Sharon slipped into the sexy frock in an effort to publicise the annual Love Light And Laughter gala, which raises money to combat the widespread autoimmune illness. The 48-year-old, who is well-known for her commitment to charity work, has been an active supporter of the organisation for several years.
Just a few months ago she made a surprise appearance on its behalf, acting as auctioneer at a sale of vintage handbags. Fellow screen stars including Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon and Jessica Simpson donated items for the event, but it was Sharon who showed the greatest commitment, spontaneously deciding to go barefoot in order to offer the Versace shoes she was wearing.
