Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti certainly knows how to keep girlfriend Drew Barrymore happy. And even though she's a movie mogul with her own production company, the recipe is surprisingly simple. Over the long weekend the couple seemed the picture of contentment as they strolled about the streets of New York with their pet dog after tucking into a hearty lunch.
Ever since moving to the city to set up home with her rocker, the Charlie's Angels actress has been a Big Apple gal at heart. The unpretentious, laid-back vibe seems to suit her. "I have my local gym, my iced-tea place, my little product store," enthuses Drew. "I totally live in my neighbourhood and walk everywhere and just go about my day with total freedom."
The former Hollywood wild child - who has had two extremely short-lived marriages - is obviously thriving in what is her most low-key relationship to date. According to the 31-year-old star the loved-up pair's itinerant lifestyle helps keep things "fresh and fun". "It's like, OK, I want this. I can make this work," says Drew. "And four years later, we're a testament to that."
